Hi, I'm Satenik Ghukasyan, a senior product designer. Most of my work has been the same kind of job: an enterprise product that grew fast, and now the tables, the modals and the filters all behave a little differently. I find the patterns, build the design system so the team has rules to work with, and then design the features on top of it.

At one company I built a 40+ component design system from scratch, and held the payment project's design work until the system existed — so the screens were built on the system rather than around it. On the same product I designed one set of system patterns across four portals: Admin, Data Owner, Partner and Certifier. I've also designed a fintech suite — a neobank, a crypto platform and payments — and an AI financial assistant, where I designed both the mobile app and the admin platform behind it.

I think in components and rules, and I know what a handoff has to answer. That comes from where I started: I studied mathematics and programming, and worked as a web developer before moving into design.

I'm interested in how behavioral and cognitive psychology shapes the way people read an interface. What I'm looking for now is a complex product and a team that thinks in data.
